Bob Clark was a great director, and it is an awful shame that he's gone.

Zack Snyder's 300 Army Resurrected As Zombies?! - BLOODY-DISGUSTING.COM: "Set in a quarantined Las Vegas in the not-too-distant future, 'Army' revolves around a father who tries to save his daughter from imminent death in a zombie-infested world. (Snyder got his first taste of zombies directing the remake of 'Dawn of the Dead' for Universal.)

Snyder, who has been on a press tour promoting the opening of '300' domestically and overseas, told Daily Variety that he wants 'Army' to have a sweeping, epic quality, along the lines of the highly stylized '300.'

'I feel like there hasn't been a zombie movie on the scale that we want to do it,' Snyder said from the Bahamas, where he is shooting a commercial.

He said it's too early to say how 'Army' will be shot -- '300' was filmed entirely in front of a green screen -- but that the project is likely to borrow some of the same techniques."

Gears of War is crack. It has its claws embedded deep in my flesh. I am sometimes almost more inclined to play it than to go drinking. I think what makes it so playable is the excellent multiplayer games. If I am getting hosed by exploding subterranean mutants, I can just set up an open invitation to have someone join me, and within moments someone joins up. Or if I'm feeling cocky, I can sign on, sneak up behind one of my buddies, and split his face open with a chainsaw.

I've gotta get back into updating regularly. These sporadic bursts aren't so much good. I just work too damned much, and well, usually spend my time off drinking at the bar. The only reason I'm updating right now, is because I thought I had to go to work an hour earlier than I actually do, and now I'm killing an extra hour before work. Anyway, now I go to work, and as soon as I get out I'm headed to the bar. Does that really surprise anyone?

Your Number 1 Source For Horror - BLOODY-DISGUSTING.COM: "James Van Der Beek (The Plague), is set to star in Stone's War, written and directed by acclaimed Finnish director Marko Makilaakso, according to Production Weekly. In the film formerly titled “War of the Dead,” Captain Martin Stone (Van Der Beek) is leading a finely-trained, elite platoon of American and Finnish soldiers as they attack an enemy bunker. Underestimating their enemy’s strength, they are quickly beaten back into the forest. As they try to regroup, they are suddenly attacked by the same soldiers they had just killed a few minutes earlier. Forced to flee deeper into Russian territory, they discover one of war’s most terrifying secrets and realize they have woken up a far more deadlier enemy. Principal photography for the film will begin April 2nd in Lithuania."
Finnish zombie flick! Awesome!
